Our goal and purpose is to help you find and follow your own spiritual path and follow that spiritual path wherever and however you want to take it. Our secondary goal and purpose is to help you earn an academic degree in comparative religions, divinity, ministry, religious studies or theology. Our third goal and purpose is to help prepare you for your ministry as a deacon, deaconess, druid, priest, priestess, minister, pastor or swami. You're welcome to take any of our workshops, seminars or courses at any time. We'll assign an instructor to assist you in planning your own course of study to attain your goals the way you want to attain them. Together we'll tailor your course of study to fit our degree programs and attain your goals. [ New Workshops ] You may study for the ministry or for your own personal and spiritual development. You may work toward a scholastic degree or not at your option. You may choose any spiritual path, which has as its basis a desire to help other people and to harm none, for your degree program. You may receive life credit for previous educational programs and work experience. MISSION The mission of Universal Seminary is to help you find and follow your own unique spiritual path. Our secondary mission is to prepare men and women, regardless of their age, race, color, creed or sex, for ordination to the ministry or priesthood. Universal Seminary continues to support former students with continuing education for self-improvement and spiritual advancement. Universal Seminary pursues this mission through an integrated program of personal and spiritual, theological and pastoral formation. NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICY
Universal Seminary admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. ADMISSION TO UNIVERSAL SEMINARY Admission to Universal Seminary is by application to be accompanied by an application fee of $35.00 per person. Admission is not required to take any workshops, seminars or courses. Any person may take any workshop, seminar or class at any time. of Universal Seminary ] "THE VARIETIES OF RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE" by William James is one of the classics recommended for preparatory study. Dr. Starrus considered it indispensable in the education of a minister for any religion. It's considered a spiritual book irrespective of religion. We recommend it to all aspiring ministers of any religion or denomination. You may read this book at any time and submit an acceptable paper discussing any portion of the book for a one-time credit of up to 6 Semester Hours for a course of the same title. RECOMMENDED RESOURCES Courses, workshops and seminars from the following organizations are accepted for full credit by Universal Seminary without any additional fees or transfer costs. Attunements and degrees of attainment will be awarded credit without any additional fees or costs upon receipt of a satisfactory paper covering the subject matter. GNOSTIC LESSONS offered by the Universal Gnostic Church are an excellent introduction to Gnosticism, mysticism, esoteric spirituality, metaphysical religions and to helping you find and follow your own spiritual path. SPIRITUAL ALCHEMY transforms you into the person you want to become by helping you overcome past trauma and injury, change the false beliefs you have about yourself, improve your attitude toward spirituality and abundance, and reprogram you for success. ESOTERIC FREEMASONRY is open to men and women of all ethnic origins, religious affiliations and occupations. It teaches a system of morality and esoteric spirituality designed to help members improve themselves in all aspects of their lives. MODERN ESSENES is a teaching and healing order of men and women dedicated to helping other people heal themselves. The order teaches several Reiki traditions as well as the ancient Essene healing techniques. TAROT INSTITUTE teaches several different spiritual approaches to using Tarot to help yourself or others. The Tarot Institute publishes the highly acclaimed Tarot News newsletter on Yahoogroups. MAGICKAL ORDER OF THE GOLDEN DAWN allows members to use their own spiritual pantheon, guardian angel and spirit guides to learn the esoteric arts and sciences and open communications with the Divine realms according to the teachings of the Kaballah. YOU HEAL YOURSELF is dedicated to teaching the public how they can heal themselves through nutrition and health. Their material is well-researched and invaluable in planning your own health and nutrition program. SPIRITUAL HEALTH COACH licenses are available to healers, nutritionists and other practitioners in the alternative health field. The Spiritual Health Coach License Board is under the jurisdiction of the Universal Gnostic Church as one of the five largest recognized spiritual healer licensing boards in the world. |
