ES 101    Esoteric Spirituality I

This two semester course is intended to give the student a foundation in metaphysics, ritual and Esoteric Christianity.

ES 102    Introduction to Metaphysics

This course provides both a history and an outline of the various components of the field of metaphysics.

ES 103    Beginning Meditation I

The first semester of this two-semester course is designed to outlining the various methods of achieving meditative states with practical applications.

ES 104    Beginning Meditation II

The second semester of this two-semester course is a practical application of the various methods of achieving meditative states learned during the first semester.

ES 105    Introduction to the Qabala I

The formation of the Sepheroth and the Tree of Life is examined according to the Sepher Yetzirah and other writings.

ES 106    Introduction to Qabala II

The formation of the twenty-two paths and the sixteen hidden paths between the Sephera is examined through the Sepher Yetzirah and other writings.

ES 107    Esoteric Spirituality II

This two semester course is intended to give the student a foundation in metaphysics, ritual and Esoteric Christianity.

ES 108    Intermediate Metaphysics I     

The components of metaphysics will be studied in depth during this two-semester course.  Methods of evaluating these phenomenon will be learned.

ES 211    Introduction to Astrology

The signs, aspects, planets, and houses will be studied.  The student will learn to interpret astrological charts using two or more schools of interpretation. 

ES 212    Introduction to Tarot

The student will learn the meanings of the Major and Minor Arcana and be able to interpret several different spreads.

ES 213    Esoteric Qabala I

The three forms of analysis of scripture and other writings will be explored during this two semester course using both the Hebrew and English language and texts.

ES 214    Esoteric Qabala II

The three forms of analysis of scripture and other writings will be explored during this two semester course using both the Hebrew and English language and texts.

ES 215    Psychic Phenomenon

The student will learn both the scholarly and the experimental approach to understanding the nature of psychic phenomenon.

ES 221    Spirituality and Faith Healing I

The first semester of this two-semester course gives an overview of the history and practice of faith healing.

ES 222    Intermediate Metaphysics II

The phenomenon of the different components of metaphysics will be evaluated using both the scholastic and the experimental approach. 

ES 223    Spirituality and Channeling I

The student will be introduced to channeling and evaluate the phenomenon both from a scholarly and an experimental approach.

ES 231    Intermediate Astrology

The student will learn how to cast a horoscope using the standard American format and interpret charts at an intermediate level.

ES 232    Intermediate Tarot

The student will learn how to spread several different Tarot decks and be able to interpret the meanings of those spreads using several different systems.

ES 233    Intermediate Meditation I

The intermediate student will learn several meditative mantras, asanas or meditative positions, and several techniques.  This two-semester course is intended to bring these altogether in a practical applied course of study. 

ES 234    Intermediate Qabala I

This course will explore the relationships between the Kaballah and other esoteric writings such as the Tarot, Astrology, Esoteric Freemasonry, the Golden Dawn and Holy Scripture.

ES 235   Intermediate Qabala II

A continuation of ES 333 with emphasis on the Tree of Life.

ES 240    Independent Study in Metaphysics

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 250    Independent Study in Astrology

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 260    Independent Study in Tarot

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 270    Independent Study in Meditation

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 280    Independent Study in Esoteric Spirituality

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 301    Spirituality and Faith Healing II

The second semester of this two-semester course gives the student the opportunity to both experience and evaluate the faith healing phenomenon.

ES 302    Advanced Metaphysics I

The student will study advanced techniques of evaluating metaphysical phenomenon and report on them from both a scholastic and experimental viewpoint.

ES 303    Spirituality and Channeling II

The student will attempt to channel under strict research criterion and will evaluate the process as a research project.

ES 304    Advanced Astrology I

The student will cast and evaluate several charts at an advanced level using techniques to ascertain causes for present circumstances.

ES 305    Advanced Tarot I

The student will evaluate several spreads at an advanced level using techniques to ascertain causes for present circumstances.

ES 306    Intermediate Meditation II

The intermediate student will learn several meditative mantras, asanas or meditative positions, and several techniques.  This two-semester course is intended to bring these altogether in a practical applied course of study.

ES 307    Advanced Qabala I

The student will study vibration, sound and chanting as described in Qabalistic (Kabalistic) texts and Holy Scripture.

ES 308    Advanced Qabala II

The Qabala will be compared with Eastern religious and pagan writings to ascertain similarities in philosophy and approach to the Divine.

ES 330    Practicum in Esoteric Spirituality

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.  

ES 331    Practicum in Astrology

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.  

ES 332    Practicum in Tarot

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 333    Practicum in Channeling

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 334    Practicum in Healing

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 335    Practicum in Metaphysics

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 380    Independent Study in Esoteric Spirituality

The student is expected to pick a topic of interest to explore in detail.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.  

ES 390    Thesis in Esoteric Spirituality

The candidate will write an original thesis on a topic chosen by the student and approved by the department. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of course work and permission of the department.  

ES 401    Spirituality and Faith Healing III

The student will evaluate the faith healing phenomenon using techniques learned in earlier courses.

ES 402    Advanced Metaphysics II

The student will study advanced techniques of evaluating metaphysical phenomenon and report on them from both a scholastic and experimental viewpoint.

ES 403    Spirituality and Channeling III

The student will evaluate the channeling phenomenon using techniques learned in earlier courses.

ES 404    Advanced Astrology II

The student will cast and evaluate several charts at an advanced level using techniques to ascertain future events.

ES 405    Advanced Tarot II

The student will evaluate several spreads at an advanced level using techniques to ascertain future events.

ES 406    Advanced Meditation Techniques I

The student will study advanced techniques from the Buddhist, Yoga and Esoteric Spiritual Paths.

ES 411    Practicum in Esoteric Spirituality

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 412    Practicum in Astrology

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 501    Spirituality and Faith Healing IV

The student will evaluate and compare the faith healing phenomenon studied in previous courses and use these techniques to evaluate fraudulent attempts to duplicate faith healing results.

ES 503    Spirituality and Channeling IV

The student will evaluate and compare channeling phenomenon studied in earlier courses and use these techniques to evaluate fraudulent attempts to duplicate the channeling process.

ES 504    Advanced Meditation Techniques II

The student will study advanced techniques using either astrology, tarot, channeling, or healing meditations.

ES 515    Practicum in Esoteric Spirituality

The student will choose an area of interest and assist beginning students in that area under the supervision of an appropriate mentor.  Prerequisites: Approval by the Department.

ES 520    Practicum in Astrology

ES 590    Dissertation in Esoteric Spirituality
